Fitness Classes are back!

We are pleased to be able to offer you all Fitness Classes at Lee on the Solent Tennis, Squash & Fitness Club. It's been a tricky time as the studio is unable to be used at this time due to the current safety regulations.  Thank you to the Management Committee and our awesome instructors we can finally get classes back on the timetable from Monday 17th August

What are we offering? Day, Time, Instructor, Location, Class type. At this time all classes are 45 minutes

Monday - 12:00 - Grace Evans - Tennis Court 1 - Body Conditioning -  Focusing on strength, muscular endurance and fitness conditioning, these classes will help to develop a strong and toned physique.
Tuesday - 18:00 - Sally Nevard - Tennis Court 1 - Les Mills Body Combat - Inspired by martial arts you will punch, kick and kata your way through calories to superior cardio fitness. Average calories burned per class – 700.
Tuesday - 18:00 - Jessica Mitchell - Function Room - Pilates - A mat-based workout following techniques developed by Joseph Pilates which includes concentrated work on core strength, body alignment and muscular balance.
Tuesday - 19:00 - Jessica Mitchell - Function Room - Pilates - A mat-based workout following techniques developed by Joseph Pilates which includes concentrated work on core strength, body alignment and muscular balance.
Wednesday - 09:00 - Betsy Schrader - Les Mills Body Balance - Bend and stretch through a series of simple yoga moves and embrace elements of Tai Chi and Pilates. Breathing control is a part of all the exercises, and instructors will always provide options for those just getting started. You’ll strengthen your entire body and leave the class feeling calm and centered. Happy.
Wednesday - 18:00 - Mel Simmonds - Tennis Court 1 - Zumba - Ditch the workout and join the party. Features exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats.
Thursday - 12:00 -  Betsy Schrader - Tennis Court 1 - *NEW* Dance Fit - Move, dance and shake the day off with Betsy's dance fit class. Including Salsa, Bollywood, Jive, Cha-Cha, Street, Musical Theatre & more. Smile and get sweaty to feel good music with easy to follow instructions.
Thursday - 18:00 - Lisa Cole - Tennis Court 1 - 20/20/20 - This class offer a variety of exercise disciplines: cardio, strength and core based formats that can change each week.
Friday - 12:00 - Mel Simmonds - Tennis Court 1 - ABC -   Focusing on strength, muscular endurance and fitness conditioning, these classes will help to develop a strong and toned physique.
Sunday - 11:00 - Scott Marshall - Tennis Court 1 - *NEW* Fitness Fusion - The class will combine the body and mind focusing on core strength, extended stretching for flexability, focusing the mind to the body and relaxation>meditation, but not hard core meditation, more about allowing the mind and body to relax as much as can be. 

Any of the above are free for our Classes members. Don't have classes on your subscription? Not a problem. Want to try a class for the first time? You are very welcome. You can participate in any class for £5 a session. Want to bring a friend who isn't a member? Of course you can. Non members can join any class for £6 a session. We will need to take their details for health and safety reasons.

Online booking is ready for you now. Just click on Activity once you are logged in and choose Fitness Classes. Click on the calendar and choose the date you wish. The timetable will appear. Choose your class and click OK to confirm your space.

At this time there are only 5 spaces per Pilates class, due to distancing restrictions for indoor exercise classes. A reserve list has been set up so please ensure your notification settings are correct so you will receive an email if spaces become available. Also, please remember to cancel your space if you can no longer attend so another member can take your place.

Can't find the 18:00 Pilates class online? It is hidden behind Body Combat. Click the green line above or below Body Combat to access the Pilates Class. Hovering over each class tab will give you the time and description (trickier when using your mobile phone!). Any problems just contact the Club and we are happy to help.

Outside classes have a much larger capacity. 29 people are allowed so please tell your friends. Better still - bring them along. We'd love to welcome them. Of course, outside classes will be dependant on the weather and we will do our best to inform all who have booked a place of any changes on the day. We are hoping the forecast will smile on us next week. Come on sunshine and clear skies!

We ask that you bring your own mat, towel & water bottle. Mats & equipment cannot be supplied at this time.
Please remember to check in with your membership card and pay any fees when you arrive for your class before going on court. Non members will need to check in at the desk.
