In Yoga we focus on connecting movement with breath, connecting our mind with our body and connecting with our inner self. 

Top Tips for Yoga Beginners

Acceptance - Start by accepting where you are at with your yoga and fitness journey. Yoga teaches us to accept ourselves exactly as we are and should always be a judgment free zone.

Expectations - leave your expectations at the door of how you should look and what you should be able to do. Yoga is for everybody. Yes every-body so come as you are and enjoy the journey.

Breath - Breath and yoga go hand in hand. We use our breath in yoga to switch off from the outside world, be present, move between poses and relax. So if in doubt just breath.

Comfort - Wear comfortable clothes that you can move and breathe in. You don't need to wear tight leggings and a crop top if you don't feel comfortable in them.

Patience - just like any new skill it takes patience and practice. So embrace the challenges as you step outside your comfort zone. Be patient with yourself and celebrate the little wins along the way.

Listen - listen to the teachers ques to help you set up each pose. Listen to your body your biggest teacher, for signs to ease off and signs to adjust the pose to work for you.
